In this section we will detail crimes committed over a century ago in East Lulworth or involving East Lulworth residents.


26 November 1867: At the County Petty Sessions before John Mowlem and Miles Rodgett, Esqrs, Joseph PRESTLEY was charged with stealing one salt fish, value 3d, the property of George DAVIS, of East Lulworth. The bench sentenced him to one month's imprisonment in Dorchester gaol with hard labour.


April 1827: Charles MANUEL and Robert ORCHARD were each sentenced to one month's hard labour for 'disturbing a congregation at Lulworth Roman Catholic Chapel'
